Hope Kids Program Overview

The purpose of the Hope Kids program is to come alongside parents in loving, caring for, and teaching their children about Jesus.  At Hope Kids we want children to know that Jesus loves them and that God wants to have a relationship with them. God gave us his Word, the Bible, and it is completely true and always reliable. We believe parents are called to make disciples of their children and also believe the church must also make disciples of children.

Hope Kids Bible Explorers
Our Hope Kids Bible Explorer's Class is designed to teach children from Kindergarten through 6th grade about the Bible and the gospel. We meet every Sunday from 2:30-3:45 PM, just before the Sunday gathering. We study the Bible, memorize scripture, play games, and do crafts that relate to the Bible story lesson. We encourage all children to experience worship with the church family during the main Sunday gathering.

Hope Kids Playroom and Nursery
Just before the sermon during the Sunday gathering, parents are welcome to take their children, ages 4 and younger, to one of two classes: In the Hope Kids Playroom, active toddlers and preschoolers (ages 4 and under) will be taught a short Bible story, sing songs, pray, and have lots of time to play on a safe indoor playground. In the Hope Kids Nursery, younger toddlers and babies will be read a Bible story, sing songs, have opportunities to be held, play, and be cared for in a safe quiet environment. We have at least two workers that have gone through our screening and training process serving in each classroom each week. Safety, high visibility, and accountability are high values as we teach and care for your children.

Volunteer To Serve In The Children's Ministry

One way you can serve our church is through the children's ministry on Sundays.  All childcare workers will be trained, have references checked, and undergo a background check. Due to the nature of this opportunity, only members are allowed to serve in this ministry. If you are interested in starting the process of getting certified to care for our children, please click the button below and complete the form.
After you have filled out the form and have been officially approved to serve in Children's Ministry, you should receive an email containing the password to the Hope Kids volunteer manual below, which all volunteers are required to read through:
